Xuhui Library was formally established in July 1957. In December 1990, the new Xuhui library was completed, with an area of 5426 square meters. In April 2017, "Shuxiang Tribe", full self-service reading space of Xuhui Library, was officially opened to the public.

"Shuxiang Tribe" deployed our RFID intelligent system, with the leading scale intelligent bookshelves among all kinds of libraries in Shanghai at that time, providing readers with query, 3D navigation, self-service borrowing and returning services.

At the same time, we have helped Xuhui Library to build a one-stop online service platform named "Book Appointment Bar" which integrates retrieval, reservation, borrowing and delivery. Readers can book online through "Book Appointment Bar" and pick up books from the nearest service point in the whole Xuhui district.
