On September 21, TC46SC4WG1 Branch Technical Committee under ISO (International Standard Organization) held the third meeting toward the international standard draft of the ISO28560 Data Model for Use of RFID in Libraries. The standard workgroup reached an agreement about continuously promoting this standard and the content focused on defining the standardized coding method. Except the data model for RFID, this standard also takes privacy, frequency and existing data model into consideration. It is known that this standard is totally divided into three parts and the first two parts are hopefully finalized in January 2008.
