The warehouse of Shanghai Jinshan Petrochemical Logistics Co., Ltd. covers a total area of 18,000 square meters and is divided into 6 districts and 18 entrances and exits, where 15,000t goods can be stored and the incoming and outgoing goods reach hundreds of tons everyday. The warehouse RFID project is completed within two phases and the first-phase project was put into operation in August 2005 and the second-phase project was put into operation in March 2007. In this system, mainly utilize the RFID technical advantages to complete the automatic recognition of incoming and outgoing goods so as to increase the correctness, promptness and visibility of warehouse entry and exit, pallet dismantling and splicing, transfer and checkup. The RFID tag is pasted onto each goods pallet and the relevant goods information is stored in the tag, while the tag is connected with the logistic management system through the RFID reading and writing equipment and RFID middleware when passing in and out of the designated read-in area. Therefore, all the relevant information about the goods passing in and out of the warehouse can be recorded at a real time, and at the same time the intelligent RFID terminal conducts wireless operation so as to meet the mobility of the calculation. In such case, the logistic management center can learn how many goods have entered or left the warehouse at a real time and automatically match the incoming and outgoing goods and receipts but also can realize error alarm.
